The meeting covered:
1. Minutes of previous meeting: approved as a true record.
2. Performance & Governance Update:
- Rent arrears and collection are good despite cost of living crisis.
- Repairs performance is improving, with a new online booking service to be launched.
- Complaints have risen due to damp and mould cases, with a learning loop in place to prevent repeat complaints.
- Introduction of 'Awaab's law' to implement strict time limits on fixing damp and mould issues.
3. Tenancy Fraud Policy: little change, with initial checks in place to prevent fraud and subletting.
4. Value for Money Strategy: investing in areas with the biggest impact on tenants' lives, such as energy efficiency and customer experience training.
5. Board Recruitment: vacancy for Audit & Risk Committee Chair and Tenant Board member, with a review of induction and support.
6. Regulatory rating: regraded from V1 to V2 due to economic pressures on financial plan, with an In-Depth Assessment to be carried out in April and May.
