The Cumberland County Utilities Authority (CCUA) held its Regular Monthly Meeting on May 17, 2012. The meeting was called to order, and a quorum was present. The minutes of the April 19, 2012 meeting were approved. Director Theodore Propert reported that the plant met all parameters for April and discussed field applications of bio-solids, hauling of sludge, and a new process for sending agendas and minutes by email. He also reported on a meeting with the Authority Auditor to review rate charge changes. Engineer Ronald Curcio reported on the Environmental Trust Treatment Plant Upgrade Project and the Upper Deerfield Force Main Project. Auditor Steve Testa reported on the Secondary Market Disclosure Report and the updated calculation of the Authority's maximum allowable Connection Fee. General Counsel's report was read in his absence, discussing the Change Order Request for Auditing Services, issues with Cumberland Manor, and bids for Wastewater Treatment Sludge Hauling and Disposal Services. Resolutions were presented, including extending the volume waste hauler agreement, awarding a contract for hauling services, and authorizing an amendment to the CPA contract.
