Summary

Der Deutsche Bundestag hat einen Gesetzentwurf zur Einführung einer Nachunternehmerhaftung in der Kurier-, Express- und Paketbranche zum Schutz der Beschäftigten (Paketboten-Schutz-Gesetz) vorgelegt. Ziel ist es, Verstöße gegen die Pflicht zur Zahlung des Mindestlohns und gegen sozialversicherungsrechtliche Pflichten in der Branche zu bekämpfen. Der Gesetzentwurf sieht vor, dass Unternehmer im Speditions-, Transport- und Logistikgewerbe, die im Bereich der Kurier-, Express- und Paketdienste tätig sind und Nachunternehmer beauftragen, für die Sozialversicherungsbeiträge ihrer Nachunternehmer haften. Der Erfüllungsaufwand für die Wirtschaft wird auf circa 8 Millionen Euro pro Jahr geschätzt, der durch die "One in, one out"-Regelung kompensiert werden soll. Der Bundestag soll über den Gesetzentwurf entscheiden.
