The number of cancer patients worldwide has significantly increased, with over 12 million people diagnosed and 7.6 million dying from the disease annually, making palliative care crucial. Cancer patients, particularly those of active and working age, face numerous social, economic, psychological, and ethical problems, including deterioration of psychological balance and social adaptation. The role of healthcare professionals is vital in supporting and informing patients and their families, alleviating suffering, and upholding their right to a dignified life. This paper aims to study the attitude and mood of cancer patients towards their diagnosis and the care they receive, with a focus on the ethical and humanitarian aspects of healthcare professionals' behavior.
