Wakasagi (pond smelt) are thriving and serve as a key forage base for bass and trout. Native fish above the dam include rainbow trout, speckled dace, marbled sculpin, and lamprey. Introduced fish include brown trout, brook trout, brown bullhead, largemouth bass, white crappie, black crappie, green sunfish, and golden shiner.
