Superheat is committed to providing services and employment opportunities in a way that respects the dignity and independence of those with disabilities. The company has developed a Multi-Year Accessibility Plan to identify, remove, and prevent barriers for people with disabilities under the Integrated Accessibility Standard Regulations (IASR) within the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). The plan outlines the company's strategy to remove barriers in areas such as accessibility policies, employee training, building layout and facilities, information and communication, and employment standards. The plan is reviewed every five years, and progress is tracked against specific deadlines and requirements. Many of the requirements have been completed, including developing accessibility policies, providing employee training, and notifying employees and the public of the availability of accommodation for applicants with disabilities. Ongoing efforts include reviewing and updating accessibility plans, providing individualized workplace emergency response plans, and considering accessibility needs of employees.
