Temporary employees hired for six months or less are covered by the Collective Agreement, except for certain articles.
 Temporary employees hired for more than six months are covered by the Collective Agreement, except for Article 7.
Temporary employees with two continuous years of service can return to the benefit plan if they return within one year of their last day of work.
 The Employer must forward a seniority list for temporary employees to the Union twice a year.
The Union proposes changes to retention of rights and privileges in cases of merger or amalgamation.
 The Employer must inform the Union of new hires and provide contact information for the COPE 491 Regional Vice President.
The Union can make announcements at staff meetings convened by the Employer.
 Job postings must be used to fill temporary vacancies expected to last longer than six months.
