Summary

Ofsted inspected Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee School on 3 May 2017 and found it to be "good". The leadership team, led by Executive Headteacher Andy Balmer, has maintained the good quality of education since the last inspection in 2013. The school has a skilled and dedicated team, and leaders are forging a stronger partnership with College Park School to improve teaching. However, the quality of leadership needs strengthening, particularly at middle-leader level, and the school needs to improve its assessment systems to measure pupils' progress more precisely. Safeguarding is effective, and parents and carers are confident in the school's ability to keep their children safe. The curriculum is thematic and personalized to pupils' needs, and teachers work together to meet pupils' medical and physical needs. Areas for improvement include strengthening middle leadership, improving assessment systems, and making more use of links with other schools to help teachers check the accuracy of their assessments.
