Summary

The New Cooperation Mechanism (NC) guidelines outline the application process for Danish civil society actors to receive support for developing sustainable cooperation and exchange with partners in Eastern Neighbourhood countries (ENC). Eligible applicants include civil society actors registered in Denmark, with partners from Denmark and ENC submitting a joint application. The Danish partner will be the lead applicant and must meet administrative and legal obligations.

The NC focuses on five thematic areas: youth, media, culture, labour market, and just and green transition, with a cross-cutting emphasis on gender, inclusion, and human rights. The application form can be downloaded from the website and submitted to [email protected] in English, along with an activity-based budget and work plan.

The assessment criteria include the quality of the partnership, relevance to target groups, applicant team experience, integration of human rights-based approach, coherence of intervention logic, and risk assessment. The maximum amount to apply for is DKK 1,200,000, with a total yearly budget of DKK 10,500,000 aimed at supporting 25 smaller and larger projects.
