Summary

The Altimeter Module MS5607 is a high-resolution altimeter sensor with SPI and I2C bus interface, featuring a pressure sensor and temperature output. It provides precise digital 24-bit pressure and temperature values, with a high resolution of 20 cm, thermometer range of -40 to +85 °C, and pressure range of 10 to 1200 mbar. The module supports I²C and SPI communications, has a power requirement of 3.3 to 6.5 VDC, and operates in a temperature range of -40 to +85 °C. It is suitable for various applications, including mobile altimeter/barometer systems, rate of climb and descent indicator, height sensing, navigation, weather station, and altitude hold for UAVs. The module is pre-calibrated and does not require external calibration, and its communication protocol can be selected between SPI and I2C by pulling the Protocol Select pin high or low.
