The European Framework for Digitally-Competent Educational Organisations (DigCompOrg) aims to facilitate transparency and comparability between related initiatives throughout Europe, addressing fragmentation and uneven development across Member States. The framework encourages self-reflection and self-assessment within educational organisations and enables policymakers to design, implement, and evaluate policy interventions for the integration and effective use of digital learning technologies. DigCompOrg consists of thematic elements, including Leadership and Governance Practices, Teaching and Learning Practices, Professional Development, Assessment practices, Content and Curricula, Collaboration and Networking, and Infrastructure. The framework was developed through a mixed-research approach, including a comprehensive literature review, in-depth analysis of existing frameworks, and expert and stakeholder consultation.
