A total of 50 accessions from 14 cacao varieties were collected, including Criollo and its derivatives. DNA extraction, marker screening, PCR amplification, and DNA profiling were conducted using specific methods and equipment. The study aims to contribute to the accurate identification and conservation of Philippine cacao varieties.
