The owner, occupant, or owner's agent must complete a 12-point checklist before the fumigation crew arrives, or the job may be postponed or cancelled with a $200+ fee. The checklist includes:
1. Removing people and pets from the property and notifying neighbors with cats.
2. Removing interior plants, trimming vegetation, and protecting plants in close proximity.
3. Removing or bagging ingestible food, feed, drugs, and medicinals.
4. Providing keys and access to all areas, including locked rooms and garages.
5. Ensuring electricity and water are on, and turning off air conditioning and exterior lights.
6. Shutting off natural gas service and scheduling restoration.
7. Removing baby mattresses, change stations, and plastic covers from other mattresses.
8. Leaving drawers, cabinets, and storage areas open and clearing items from windows.
9. Removing valuables, as no on-site security is provided.
10. Obtaining written authorization from neighbors if necessary.
11. Providing an emergency phone number.
12. Contacting the company with questions or concerns.

Failure to comply with these requirements may result in additional fees, job cancellation, or damage to property. The company assumes no liability for damages or losses due to missed items, burglary, theft, or vandalism.
