Fifty-two stormwater runoff reduction tests were conducted on six residential lawns in Madison, Wisconsin, and an infiltration-loss model was evaluated using experimental data. The model was found to be accurate in predicting stormwater runoff volume, and results indicated that urban lawns can be a useful stormwater management practice, with the potential to reduce annual stormwater runoff volume.
