Education is a tool that can easily bring about social transformation and development. Through education, people can bring about desirable changes in their lives. In society, the most vulnerable groups, such as Scheduled Castes, who have historically been backward in the field of education, can improve their social status through modern education. Scheduled Castes are the most marginalized groups in India, accounting for about 16% of the country's population. Although the population of Scheduled Castes varies from state to state, they are generally considered to be at the lower rungs of the social ladder. The Indian Constitution has made several provisions to improve the social and educational status of Scheduled Castes, including reservation policies. Despite these efforts, the situation remains challenging. The relationship between caste and education is deep-seated, with certain castes being denied access to education based on religious and cultural beliefs. The Indian government has implemented various policies to promote inclusive education and improve the social and economic status of marginalized groups.
