Agroecology is widely discussed in international development cooperation, with various resources available for a better overview. Key reports include the HLPE-Report #14 (2019) on agroecological approaches for sustainable agriculture and food systems, and the HLPE-Report #15 (2020) featuring agroecology as a strategy to achieve food security and nutrition. The UN Food and Agricultural Organisation's "Scaling Up Agroecology" initiative and the IPCC Special Report on Climate Change (2019) also highlight agroecology as a solution to adapt to and mitigate climate change.
