Despite declining global mortality rates, young people aged 10-24 have the poorest healthcare coverage, and unsafe sex is a growing risk factor. The GFF has varied levels of meaningful adolescent and youth engagement (MAYE) across countries, and this paper seeks to outline best practices, highlight examples, and make recommendations for enhancing MAYE in the GFF.
