Summary

The Center for Nonprofit Excellence (CNE) has developed a new Essential Skills Training series for nonprofit staff in partnership with Sacred Heart University, addressing the need for affordable training to boost basic business skills. The CNE also launched a new program to help nonprofits apply technology strategically, and will offer training and coaching to equip them with the skills and resources needed to develop an IT plan. Additionally, the CNE has trained 165 individuals from 112 nonprofits in Results Based Accountability (RBA) and will offer more RBA training and peer learning opportunities. The CNE will also host a series of workshops to help nonprofits prepare for Giving Day 2016, including sessions on storytelling, social media, and donor cultivation.
