The hydraulic lines are connected to the calipers, which are tapped to 1/8"-27 NPT, and the system is bled with DOT 4 or DOT 5.1 brake fluid. A proper break-in procedure is required to avoid brake fade and uneven rotor deposits.

Torque specifications are provided for various components, including the spindle nut (200 ft-lbs), M12 FHS (50 ft-lbs), 1/4-28 FHS (15 ft-lbs), and caliper mounting bolts (35 ft-lbs).
