This document presents a European Technical Assessment (ETA) for the CAPAPROOF PUA H liquid-applied roof waterproofing kit, manufactured by CEMENTOS CAPA, S.L.

Product Description:

CAPAPROOF PUA H is a two-component, hybrid polyurea-based system designed for waterproofing roofs.
It consists of several components:
CAPAPROOF PRIMER PU: Polyurethane-based primer for concrete.
 CAPAPROOF PRIMER EP ALL: Epoxy water-based primer for concrete and thermal insulation.
CAPAPROOF PUA H: Waterproofing membrane.
 CAPAPROOF COAT 2K: Protective UV finish.
CAPAPROOF PLASTIC: Slipperiness film (8% weight mixed).

Intended Use & Scope:

The system is intended for waterproofing roofs against both liquid and vapor water penetration.
It can be used on new or existing roofs, as well as vertical surfaces.
 The kit has a projected lifespan of 25 years under specific installation, storage, and maintenance conditions.

Performance & Compliance:

The product meets the following Basic Work Requirements (BWR) outlined in EAD 030350-00-0402:

Safety in Case of Fire (BWR 2): Met through specific testing.
 Hygiene, Health & Environment (BWR 3):
No leachable substances determined according to the EAD.
 Resistance to water vapor permeation: 1700 (without top coat).
Watertightness and delamination strength tested and passed.

Installation & Maintenance:

Installation should be carried out by qualified installers using only the components specified in the ETA.
Visual inspection and thickness control are crucial to ensure minimum membrane thickness of 1.4 mm.
 Recommended installation temperature: 5-40°C (not to exceed 45°C for supports).
* Repairs involve light grinding of deteriorated areas, followed by application of new CAPAPROOF PUA H coats that overlap existing ones by at least 15-20 cm.
