The device can multiplex 2x100G clients into a single coherent CFP2 uplink, providing high spectral efficiency and cost-effective 200G capacity over a single wavelength. It is suitable for various applications, including data center interconnect, metro networks, and last mile access/aggregation. The PL-2000M has a user-configurable operation mode, supports forward error correction, and features a 200G pluggable CFP2 coherent tunable DWDM line interface. It also has optional integrated EDFA, mux/demux, and optical switch, and supports remote management with in-band GCC or out-of-band OSC.
