Summary

Prophets were raised among all nations to guide people, with each prophet receiving a revealed Book to show the right way. The Quran teaches that a prophet was raised among every nation, and Muslims must believe in all prophets equally, with no distinction between them. All prophets taught that God is One and did not ask people to worship them. They were mortal with ordinary human needs, and their mission was to invite people to forgive their faults and give them respite till an appointed term. Prophet Muhammad was sent to all people, marking a turning point in human history, and his appearance dawned a new era of unity under one spiritual head, with the idea of nationality giving place to the broader idea of one humanity.
