Summary

FHWA has taken actions to address weaknesses in state LPA oversight programs, but its actions are having a limited impact due to weaknesses in its oversight actions, including inadequate assessments of state LPA oversight programs and inaccurate reporting of the status of states' LPA oversight programs.
