The King's Christian Academy exists to help parents and churches educate children in truth and righteousness with academic excellence based on the Biblical worldview. The academy provides quality Christian education in Southern Maryland, offering traditional classroom and home-school environments. KCA is approved by the Maryland State Department of Education and accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools and the Association of Christian Schools International.

The academy's statement of faith includes beliefs in one God, the Bible as the inspired Word of God, the deity of Jesus Christ, and the present ministry of the Holy Spirit. Home-schooled students can take up to three academic courses and unlimited special courses, with requirements including at least one academic course and meeting academic eligibility for sports and extra-curricular activities.

Course options for home-schooled students include academic courses such as calculus, literature, and history, as well as special courses like computer, music, and art. Extra-curricular activities include basketball, track, soccer, and robotics club. Tuition costs range from $740 to $790 per semester for academic courses, with additional fees for registration, athletic/fine arts, and yearbook. Home-schooled students can participate in social activities and may ride the bus for no additional charge if needed.
