Carl A. Yergari, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Yergari, married Genevieve Lindemann, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lindemann of Fargo, North Dakota, in a double ring ceremony at St. Mark's Church in Fargo. The bride wore a white satin gown with a tufted bouffant skirt and a veil of illusion. The best man was Joseph A. Yergari, and the ushers were Bohn C. Lindemann and William Anderson.

Helen Catherine Kessler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Kessler, is engaged to Edward Francis Phalen, son of Mr. Phalen and the late Mrs. Phalen. Miss Kessler graduated from Gorton High School and attended Alvema Institute, and is employed by the Empire Mutual Casualty Company. Mr. Phalen attended Saunders Trade School and served in the Marine Corps.

Judith Reis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Heinrich Reis, is engaged to Vincent Poggiogalle, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Poggiogalle. Miss Reis attended Commercial High School and is employed as a secretary by the Prudential Insurance Company. Mr. Poggiogalle attended Saunders Trades School and served in the Infantry in the European theater.

Muriel Marie Clapp, daughter of Mrs. Arthur C. Clapp, married Francis J. Cavey, head of the Beach Recreation Division of the City of Fort Lauderdale Department of Public Works. The wedding took place at the Park Hill Central Methodist Church, with the Rev. Dr. Wyn Blair Sutphin officiating.

Leonore Tucker, granddaughter of the late James L. Taylor, is engaged to Lieutenant Robert Anthony Mahowald, U.S. Army, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Mahowald. Miss Tucker graduated from the Ursuline School and Trinity College, and her fiancé is an alumnus of St. John's University and the University of Minnesota.

Dorothea John, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar M. John, is engaged to Bernard L. Yeager, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Yeager. Miss John graduated from Eastchester High School and the Drexel Institute of Technology, and is doing graduate work at New York University. Mr. Yeager is attending Drexel Institute and served in Navy Intelligence during the war.

Dolores Markajani, daughter of Mrs. Mary Markajani, is engaged to Bruce Moffatt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Moffatt. The bride-to-be is a graduate of the High School of Commerce and is secretary to the office manager of Refined Syrups and Sugars, Inc. Her fiancé attended Roosevelt High School and is studying at New York University.
