Summary

Frau Barbara Otte-Kinast, Niedersächsisches Ministerium für Ernährung, Landwirtschaft und Verbraucherschutz, wird in einem offenen Brief aufgefordert, geplante Änderungen im niedersächsischen Jagdgesetz zu überdenken. Die geplanten Änderungen sehen vor, den Schutz von Elterntieren während der Setz- und Brutzeiten zu lockern und Verstöße gegen den Elterntierschutz nur noch als Ordnungswidrigkeit zu sanktionieren. Zudem soll der Abschuss von Hauskatzen ohne weitere Voraussetzungen gestattet werden, sobald sie sich mehr als 300 m vom nächsten Wohnhaus entfernt befinden. Die unterzeichnenden Tier- und Naturschutzorganisationen fordern eine Revision dieser Änderungsvorschläge, um den Tierschutz und die Weidgerechtigkeit zu erhalten.
