Es gibt Empfehlungen für eine risiko-adaptierte Prophylaxe und Therapie, einschließlich der COVID-19-Schutzimpfung, Antikörper zur passiven Immunisierung und wirksamen Arzneimitteln für an COVID-19 Erkrankte. Es ist wichtig, Hygienemaßnahmen einzuhalten und Angehörige/Kontaktpersonen zu impfen. Eine Online-Umfrage hat gezeigt, dass auch geimpfte Patientinnen mit hämatologischen und onkologischen Erkrankungen an COVID-19 erkranken können, insbesondere ältere Patientinnen und solche mit bestimmten Vortherapien.
