Summary

Das Selbstkonzept von Schülerinnen und Schülern, der Big-Fish-Little-Pond-Effekt, Motivationsförderung im Klassenzimmer, selbstreguliertes Lernen in der Begabtenförderung und die Frage, ob begabte Kinder keine Förderung verdienen, sind Themen, die im Bereich der Begabtenförderung und Begabungsforschung diskutiert werden. Ein Ansatz, um hochintelligente Kinder wie Max zu unterstützen, ist die Theorie der Persönlichkeits-System-Interaktionen (PSI) von Prof. Dr. J. Kuhl, die vier Funktionssysteme im Gehirn beschreibt: Intentionsgedächtnis, Objekterkennungssystem, Extensionsgedächtnis und intuitive Verhaltenssteuerung. Diese Systeme sind mit bestimmten Stimmungslagen verbunden und können durch die Fähigkeit zur Selbstregulierung von Gefühlen aktiviert oder deaktiviert werden. Das Zürcher Ressourcen Modell (ZRM) bietet eine Methodik, um Kinder dabei zu unterstützen, geeignete Selbststeuerungskompetenzen zu entwickeln, indem sie lernen, ihre Gefühle in gewünschter Weise zu beeinflussen. Durch die Kombination von PSI-Theorie und ZRM kann Kindern geholfen werden, ihre Begabungen optimal zu entfalten und ihre Leistungsmotivation zu fördern.
