Das Schweizerische Institut für ärztliche Weiter- und Fortbildung (SIWF) hat aufgrund der Covid-19-Pandemie Notstandregelungen für Fähigkeitsausweise (FA) und interdisziplinäre Schwerpunkte (iSP) erlassen. Diese Regelungen umfassen unter anderem:

Reduktion der erforderlichen Credits für die Rezertifizierung in verschiedenen Fachgebieten, wie z.B. Akupunktur, Anthroposophisch erweiterte Medizin, Klinische Notfallmedizin und Laserbehandlungen der Haut
 Fristverlängerung für die Rezertifizierung von Fähigkeitsausweisen in bestimmten Fachgebieten, wie z.B. Hüftsonographie, Schwangerschaftsultraschall und Sonographie
Gutschrift von Credits für die Rezertifizierung in bestimmten Fachgebieten, wie z.B. Klinische Notfallmedizin, Manuelle Medizin und Vertrauensarzt
 Anrechnung von Fortbildungsstunden für die Rezertifizierung in bestimmten Fachgebieten, wie z.B. Neuraltherapie und Phytotherapie
* Möglichkeit, den Fähigkeitsausweis Praxislabor ohne vorherige Teilnahme an Präsenzkursen zu beantragen, wenn der Kurs wegen COVID-19 nicht absolviert werden konnte.
