Precautions and Hazards:

- Human & Animal Toxicity: Harmful if swallowed, causes eye irritation. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Long-sleeved shirts, long pants, socks, shoes, chemical-resistant gloves, and a respirator are required for handlers.
- Engineering Controls: Use water-soluble packets in a closed mixing/loading system; wear appropriate PPE during application, including coveralls, chemical-resistant footwear, and a NIOSH-approved respirator.
- Environmental Hazards: Toxic to birds and bees; do not apply directly to water or intertidal areas.

First Aid (Acephate - Organophosphate):
- Have product container or label for medical assistance.
- Note: Blood cholinesterase activity measurement may be useful but decisions regarding treatment should be made before test results are available. Atropine sulfate and 2-PAM (PROTOPAM) are antidotes.

Usage Directions:

- Not for Indoor Residential Use.
- Avoid Drift: Do not apply under conditions that could cause drift to food, forage, or other plantings.
- Equipment Restrictions: Do not use low pressure handwand equipment.
- Agricultural Use Requirements: Follow Worker Protection Standard (40 CFR part 170) for worker protection and decontamination procedures.
- Restricted-Entry Interval (REI): Do not enter treated areas during the 24-hour REI.

User Safety Recommendations:

- Wash hands before eating, drinking, or using the toilet.
- Remove clothing immediately if pesticide comes in contact with skin; wash thoroughly and change into clean clothing.
- Remove PPE immediately after handling and wash outside of gloves before removing.
