The CLP UltraBlade Pro Dynamic Red is a recessed ceiling mount fitting with a non-user replaceable light source and battery. Installation and maintenance must be performed by a licensed electrician. The fitting has a 24V/VF control interface and comes pre-set as normally OFF. The Dynamic Red/Green activation can be changed from Normally OFF to Normally ON by changing the Dip Switch setting. The fitting has various options, including Zoneworks, HIVE, and DATA monitored options, which use Powerline Carrier Technology, RF transceiver modules, or a dedicated data cable for data communication. The LED Test Switch indicator provides a multifunction indication of the status of the fitting during testing and normal operation. Battery replacement requires isolating the power, removing the cover plate, and replacing both batteries. Testing procedures include allowing the unit to charge for at least 24 hours and conducting tests to ensure the emergency lamp illuminates for at least 180 minutes after disconnection from the mains.
