Summary

Im Jahr 2011 führte Karlheinz Schroth Untersuchungen über die Schlupfphasen von Libellen durch, insbesondere bei Großlibellen. Er filmte an 44 Tagen über 70 Individuen während der Schlupfphase, darunter 17 Individuen der Schwarzen Heidelibelle. Die Untersuchung konzentrierte sich auf die Analyse von Kontroll- und Begrenzungsmustern innerhalb der einzelnen Prägungsphasen und die Übertragbarkeit von Prozessen der psycho- und somatischen Ausprägung auf andere Tiergruppen. Die Hypothese, dass orbitale Strukturen ein Grundelement des Lebens sind, wurde berücksichtigt. Die Schlupfzeit einer Falkenlibelle kann sehr unterschiedlich sein, im Durchschnitt liegt sie bei etwa 2,5 bis 3 Stunden. Die Untersuchung zeigt, dass die Gesamtschlupfzeit angegeben werden sollte, um die Phasen des Schlupfprozesses zu verstehen. Die Falkenlibelle beginnt sich auf die Schlupfphase vorzubereiten, wenn die Temperaturen über 20°C klettern, und die meisten Larven klettern zwischen 8:30 und 9:00 Uhr aus dem Wasser. Die Schlupfpflanzen bei Falkenlibellen sind Binsen, Schilf, Röhricht und Gras, wobei Binsen aufgrund ihrer Flexibilität bei windigen Bedingungen besonders geeignet sind.
