Summary

A parallel code using MPI and Coarray methods was developed to reduce computation time of a finite volume method-based aircraft ice accretion simulation code. The code was validated by comparison with experimental data, and the parallel performance of MPI and Coarray methods was compared, showing similar results for the airflow solver. The Coarray-based implementation of the water droplet solver showed good speedup and efficiency for a given number of mesh elements and processors.
