Gaelscoil Charraig na Siúire's Parent's Council is hosting a "White Communion Party" for Second Class students and their families after the First Holy Communion ceremony on Saturday. Volunteers are needed on Friday night and Saturday to help with the event. The school has been awarded its third Green Flag for its work on the theme of Water, and a group of pupils will attend an award ceremony in Kilkenny to receive the flag. Standardised tests will be administered to First to Sixth Class pupils in May and June. The school is also organizing school trips for each class, and French classes have been organized for Rang 4, 5, and 6. Congratulations to Cormac in Rang 6 for securing a part in a film on TG4 and to Chloe in Rang 6 for being selected to represent the school in the County Primary Game.
