Arlington Public Schools Board of Education held a regular meeting on October 10, 2016. The meeting was called to order at 6:58 p.m. by Vice President Teri O’Flaherty. Present were board members Micheal Dwyer, Teri O’Flaherty, Bruce Scheer, and Luanne Sundberg, with Matt O’Daniel and Greg Sampson absent initially. The board approved the absence of Matt O'Daniel and the regular meeting agenda.

The meeting included reports from principals, a curriculum/instruction report, and a superintendent's report. The superintendent discussed the Safe Routes Grant, a potential site for medical health countermeasures, and staffing updates. The board also reviewed committee and representative reports, discussed unfinished business, and addressed new business, including approving an audit proposal and reviewing the superintendent evaluation instrument.

Motions were passed to adopt a resolution for the Baseball Field Interlocal Agreement, amend policies, approve the audit proposal, and approve the consent agenda. The meeting adjourned at 7:54 p.m.
