1. Turn ignition switch to on.
2. Select Trip A or Trip B on odometer.
3. Press < or > button until oil life is displayed.
4. Press and hold Select/Reset button for 10 seconds, confirm, and press again for 10 seconds.
Audi:
1. Push and hold right button under speedometer with ignition key off.
2. Turn ignition key to on while holding right button.
3. Push left button under tachometer to reset service light.
BMW:
1. Turn on vehicle's electrical systems without starting engine.
2. Locate odometer button and press/hold until service message appears.
3. Release and press/hold again until "Reset?" appears, then release and press/hold until "Reset Successful" appears.
Chrysler:
1. Key On-Engine Off (KOEO).
2. Fully depress accelerator pedal slowly three times within 10 seconds.
3. Turn ignition switch to Lock position.
Ford:
1. Press Trip/Reset button to cycle to "Setup Menu Hold Reset" message.
2. Press and hold Trip/Reset button for two seconds until "Reset for System Check" message appears, release, and repeat until "Oil Life Set To 100%" is displayed.
General Motors:
1. Scroll through Driver Information Center (DIC) until oil life remaining message appears, then use "Reset" button.
Alternatively, with vehicle off, turn key to position one, depress gas pedal three times, and turn key to "Off".
Honda:
1. Turn ignition to position two.
2. Press Select until oil life message is displayed.
3. Press Reset for 10 seconds until "MAINT RESET" appears, then press Select and Reset to reset oil life to 100 percent.
Isuzu: Follow GM procedure.
Lexus:
Method 1:
1. Press and hold ODO reset button.
2. While holding ODO reset, press IGN button twice without foot on brake.
Method 2:
1. Turn ignition switch to off.
2. Press trip reset button and turn ignition switch to "IG-ON" until trip meter displays zeroes.
Mercedes-Benz:
1. Turn key to position two.
2. Press/release "R" button to show next service due light.
3. Turn key to off, press/hold "R" button, and turn key to position two to reset service light.
Mini:
1. Push/hold "Trip" button.
2. Turn key to position one.
3. Release trip button for three seconds, press/hold again for five to eight seconds until "RST" appears, and release to reset miles remaining.
Mitsubishi:
1. Turn ignition to accessory position.
2. Press "Info" button until oil change information is shown.
3. Press and hold info button until "Clear" appears, then press info button again to reset.
Nissan/Infiniti:
1. Push "MAINT" button on main menu.
2. Select "Engine Oil" and push Enter.
3. Select "Maintenance Schedule" and push joystick to select desired mileage, then select "Reset" and push Enter.
Alternatively, push "MAINT" button for more than 1.5 seconds to reset maintenance reminder.
Suzuki:
Follow GM procedure or:
1. Turn key to ACC.
2. Display should read "Change Engine Oil Soon", change to "0% Oil Life".
3. Press reset button for five seconds to change to "100% Oil Life".
Toyota/Scion:
1. Turn ignition to "ACC" or "LOCK" with odometer reading shown.
2. Turn ignition key to "ON" while holding down trip meter reset knob for at least five seconds until odometer displays zeroes.
Volvo:
1. Turn ignition key to position one.
2. Ensure trip display is on T1 and shows some miles, press and hold T1 reset button until odometer sets to zero.
3. Turn ignition key to position two and release trip button when previously displayed miles reappear.
