The Covid pandemic dominated the past year, and safeguarding activities were limited. The Safeguarding Advisory Commission did not update the list of volunteers with DBS clearance, but it will be updated by the end of 2021. New applicants must complete paperwork, provide references, and meet with the safeguarding representative.

Youth Report: Covid led to a decrease in altar servers, but numbers are increasing. The server's trip was cancelled, but new events are planned. Medals, belts, and pin badges will be awarded at Christmas.

Telephone Prayer Line: The line has been in existence for 18 years, with 14 parishioners praying for requested intentions. There were 54 requests in the last 12 months.

Evangelisation Report: The pandemic stopped usual evangelisation activities, but online events and live streaming of Mass have opened up the church to a wider audience. The 7-week online Diocesan Evangelisation Course provided ideas for the future.

Stewards: The stewarding programme changed during lockdown, with extra stewards helping to keep the church sanitised and safe. Some stewards have left, but new ones have joined.

Parish Library: The library is now open, with books on Church history, biographies, prayers, and meditation. The best times to visit are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 9-1 pm.

ABC Group: The group's activities were constrained by the pandemic, but they continued to meet when possible, discussing St Matthew's Gospel and the Lord's Prayer.
