Summary

Applicant must have General Use Agreement and permits for verification. Only those 21+ can apply, and must adhere to County and State Ordinances. The Parks Department can cancel activities if deemed unsafe. Shelter rentals are limited to the shelter and adjacent grills, with no refunds for rain or bad weather. Non-residents pay an additional fee, and cancellations must be made 10 days prior to the event. Fees must be paid by the indicated date, and no cash is accepted. Inflatables and amplified music require a permit, payment, and proof of insurance. Water slides are not permitted, and shelter attendance cannot exceed maximum capacity. Applicants are responsible for leaving the facility clean, providing security and traffic control, and assuming liability for damages. A Certificate of Insurance may be required, and applicants must comply with all terms and conditions to avoid revocation of the permit. Alcohol is only permitted with a pavilion reservation and approved permit, and only off-duty DeKalb County officers can be used for security.
