Summary

A Prefeitura Municipal de Parauapebas, por meio da Secretaria Municipal de Segurança Institucional e Defesa do Cidadão e da Coordenadoria Municipal de Defesa Civil, elaborou o Plano de Contingência Municipal para Desastres Naturais e Tecnológicos, versão 1, em 2021. O plano foi desenvolvido em parceria com a empresa VALE S.A. e o Corpo de Bombeiros Militar do Pará, e tem como objetivo alinhar estratégias de preparação, resposta e recuperação às emergências, adotando a doutrina do Incident Command System (ICS) como modelo de gestão de desastres. O plano foi aprovado pelas autoridades competentes e contou com a contribuição de órgãos e instituições que integram o sistema de Proteção e Defesa Civil no município.
