The current economic situation is characterized by stagflation, with rising prices and declining demand.
Experts compare it to the second oil shock, with rising gasoline prices and shortages of raw materials, including plastics and minerals.
While the pandemic is expected to end eventually, it is uncertain when the economy will recover.
The global trend is shifting towards environmental sustainability, with the automotive industry accelerating its transition to electric vehicles (EVs).
Our company must also adapt to this change and develop new products for EVs.
However, this shift will also increase competition from Chinese and other foreign manufacturers.
To stay competitive, we must not only develop EV-related products but also diversify into other areas, such as housing, infrastructure, and healthcare.
As the Chinese proverb says, "If you don't enter the tiger's den, you won't get the tiger's cub."
We must take bold action and make courageous decisions to achieve success.
Last year, our company underwent a significant change in leadership, with a new president and five new executive officers.
Our goal is to achieve rapid and accurate management and business improvement.
We will focus on developing young talent and increasing the number of executive officers to create a strong leadership team.
The concept of "ikigai" (finding purpose and meaning in life) is essential for our employees' growth and development.
We will continue to prioritize our customers' needs and strive to create a harmonious and sustainable business environment.
This year's slogan is "Harmony," and we will work together to achieve our goals and overcome challenges.

The 20th Memorial Service for Deceased Employees
Our company held its 20th memorial service for deceased employees on November 22, 2021.
The ceremony was attended by all employees, who paid their respects to their deceased colleagues.
The service was held in the company's gymnasium, and all employees wore their athletic uniforms.
The ceremony included a ritual where employees offered food and drinks to the deceased.
The company's president and other executives also attended the ceremony and paid their respects.
The memorial service is an important tradition for our company, and we will continue to hold it every year to honor our deceased employees.
Nissei Eco Sports Day
Our company held its annual sports day on November 22, 2021.
The event was attended by 90 employees, who participated in various sports competitions.
The winning team was the Nasu team, which won the competition for the second year in a row.
The event was a great success, and all employees had a wonderful time.
Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, our company was able to hold the event safely and successfully.
