Celebrating the birth of the Prophet, known as 'Eid Milad Un Nabi,' is an innovation that was not practiced by the Companions or the early Muslim community. It was first introduced by a king, Muzafarudeen Ibn Arbal, in 604 Hijri, and was spread using hundreds of thousands of Dinars from the Muslim treasury. Many scholars, including Imam Ahmed bin Muhammad Misri Maliki and Allamah Dhahabi, have condemned this practice as a bid'ah, and it is not supported by any evidence from the Qur'an or Hadith.
