## Overview
The Cruise Data Merger Module by Industrial Forestry Service Ltd. (IFS) is a tool designed to efficiently merge block, type, and/or plot data from multiple CruiseComp datasets into a single file.

## Main Screen Structure
The Data Merger screen comprises two primary sections:

1. Project to be Merged (Source Data): Located on the left side, it displays the datasets that will be combined. Each dataset is represented by its filename, along with icons for cutblocks, types (not shown), cruise plots, and trees within selected plots.

2. Current Project (Destination File): Shown on the right, this section represents the merged data file where all source information will be consolidated.

## Merging Datasets

### Steps:

1. Starting the Cruise Data Merger Module: Access the module from the main menu.

2. Displaying a Project’s Contents: Select a dataset to merge by clicking on its filename in the "Project to be Merged" section.

3. Merging Data: Initiate the merge process, which will display the main merger screen (Figure 1).

4. Confirm Name Dialogs:
- Block/Type/Plot Confirmation: Ensures users confirm the names of blocks, types, or plots being merged (Figures 5 & 7).
- Plots Confirmation: Confirms the selection of specific plots for merging (Figure 6).

5. Mapping Dialog: Allows users to map treatment units and non-merchantable areas between source and destination datasets (Figure 4).

6. Handling Multiple Blocks/Types/Plots: The merger supports combining data from multiple blocks, types, or plots within a project (Figure 10).

- Figure 1: Merge Project Interface in block display mode, showcasing the main screen layout.
