Summary

La Sezione Ais Immaginario organizza un convegno di metà mandato dal titolo "Osservare l'immaginario" presso l'Accademia delle Belle Arti di Catania il 24-25 novembre 2022. Il convegno si concentra sull'idea di immaginario come sorgente invisibile del reale e non come dimensione opposta ad esso. L'obiettivo è quello di liberare l'immaginario dal peso della sua presunta opposizione alla realtà per realizzarne appieno il potenziale euristico per la comprensione del mondo sociale.

Il convegno si articola in tre aree tematiche:

A. Sul "come" dell'immaginario: si sollecitano contributi che discutano le metodologie e le concrete pratiche di ricerca sull'immaginario, con un'attenzione particolare alle pratiche di ricerca dei classici.

B. Sul rapporto tra immaginario e mutamento sociale: si esamina il rapporto fra immaginario e mutamento sociale, con particolare attenzione al ruolo dell'immaginario come potenziale di mutamento storico e politico.

C. Gli "oggetti" dell'immaginario: le cose, gli avvenimenti, i testi: si analizza il rapporto tra l'immaginario e gli oggetti, intesi come crocevia di materia e simbolo, di istanze oggettive e soggettive.

Le parole chiave suggerite per le aree tematiche sono: riflessione critica, teoria sociale, domanda d'indagine, costruzione dell'oggetto d'indagine, individuazione dell'oggetto d'indagine, creatività.
