Dear Parents,
On Saturday, it is the feast of Saint Blaise, Bishop and martyr of the Church.
People often turned to Saint Blaise for healing miracles. For refusing to deny his faith, he was beaten and ultimately martyred.
For the feast of Saint Blaise, Father will be blessing throats during Friday’s school Mass.
Everyone is welcome to come forward after the homily for the blessing.
If your student is not Catholic, please talk to them and decide whether or not they will be coming forward for the blessing.
The annual Virtus touching safety class will take place on Monday, Feb 5th.
Mrs. Conley will be teaching the class to grades K-2, and I will teach the class to grades 3-6.
Please read through the program overview to familiarize yourself with it.
This program is not mandatory for students, and if you do not want your child to be in the class please fill out the attached opt-out form and return it to the office before Monday.

Classroom Spotlight - Preschool
The Pre-School is so excited about their new series of activity books.
Each child was thrilled to receive their very own book.
They will be using these books in the weeks to come.
Each book contains letters, matching pages, sequencing, sight words, colors, numbers, and other various activities.
The students were also introduced to EETCHY, a learning tool for expanding expression.
What great fun to tell stories with this wonderful tool.
