This policy applies to all employees of Maruti Interior Products Limited and is incorporated into their service conditions. Sexual harassment includes physical contact, demands for sexual favors, sexually colored remarks, showing pornography, and unwelcome physical, verbal, or non-verbal conduct of a sexual nature.

Internal Complaints Committee: The company has established a Complaints Committee to address sexual harassment complaints, comprising a presiding officer, senior woman employee, divisional/personnel head, and an NGO/lawyer member. The committee has the power to summon and examine witnesses and require document production.

Redressal Process: Aggrieved employees can submit complaints in writing within 3 months of the incident. The committee will maintain a confidential register, interact with the complainant within 5-8 days, and record allegations. The person against whom the complaint is made will be given an opportunity to explain themselves.

Enquiry Process: The committee will prepare a Statement of Allegation, provide it to the person against whom the complaint is made, and give them 7 days to submit a written explanation. The committee will call witnesses, examine evidence, and complete the enquiry within 3 months.

Action: The management will take punitive action against the erring employee based on the committee's findings. The policy is governed by the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act, 2013. False or malicious complaints will result in disciplinary action against the complainant.
