Adventurous people in the UK are wanted to make a 10,000 feet freefall parachute jump to raise funds for a national charity. No experience is required, and if the minimum sponsorship amount of £395 is raised, the jump is free. The jump, called a Tandem Skydive, involves being harnessed to a professional instructor and freefalling through the air at 120mph before opening the parachute and steering back down to the ground. To qualify for a free jump, participants must raise the minimum sponsorship amount by asking friends and colleagues to sponsor them. The jump can be booked online, and participants must be at least 16 years old, under 15 stone in weight, and meet certain medical requirements.
