Summary

The European Space Agency (ESA) and the User agree on Terms and Conditions for the use and distribution of Sentinel data, which is governed by ESA's Sentinel Data Policy and the Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 1159/2013. The User is granted a non-exclusive, time-unlimited right to use, alter, and distribute Sentinel data, including making copies, publishing, and sharing with others, as long as they comply with the Terms and Conditions. The intellectual property of Primary and Altered Products remains with the satellite owner, while Derivative Works belong to the User. The User must respect the satellite owner's intellectual property rights and report any unlawful use. ESA does not guarantee the accuracy and completeness of the Sentinel data and is not liable for any damage derived from its use, except in case of wilful misconduct. The agreement can be terminated by ESA if the User breaches any of the provisions.
