Summary

The transformer, designed with a single turn primary, extracts electromagnetic energy from the transmission line, while a third-order LCL filter ensures high-order harmonics filtering. The DPFC devices, distributed along the transmission line, enable cross-decoupled control of active and reactive power flow, using a power IGBT full-bridge single-phase converter with a DC capacitor, a series clamp-on transformer, and a low pass filter. The transformer design involves determining the core section effective area based on the maximum magnetic flux density, primary winding voltage, and frequency, considering a 220 kV, 300 MVA transmission line with 4500 DPFC devices.
