The 43rd joint meeting of the CIDOC CRM SIG and ISO/TC46/SC4/WG9 and the 36th FRBR-CIDOC CRM Harmonization meeting took place from March 26-28, 2019, at FORTH in Heraklion, Crete. Attendees included Trond Aalberg, Chrysoula Bekiari, George Bruseker, Lida Charami, Martin Doerr, Anaïs Guillem, Athina Kritsotaki, Christian Emil Ore, Mélanie Roche, Thanasis Velios, and Maja Zumer.

The meeting addressed several issues, including the layout of the CIDOC CRM official version (ISSUE 410), which was divided into two volumes, one for the definition of the model and the other for amendments. The group reviewed edits to the FOL representation and listing of properties, and decided to list sub- and super-classes and properties in numerical order.

Other decisions included deleting the axiom E59(x) from the definition of E59 Primitive Value, deprecating certain properties, and adding new properties and FOL representations. The group also discussed the scope notes of various properties, including P11, P12, P31, P92, and P93, and assigned homework to review and revise certain scope notes and FOL notations.

Additionally, the meeting touched on ISSUE 241, the wider practical scope of CRM, and reviewed a text by MD on expanding the scope of CRM. The meeting concluded with several decisions and assignments for future work.
