Event Information:

- Format: One Ring Trial with 4 trials over two days (Saturday & Sunday).
- Levels: 1, 2, 3, and Veterans.
- Courses: Titling & Championship courses offered at each trial.
- Entries: Limited to 40 per trial. Discount for entries received by August 5, 2023.
- Judges: Nicole Tate and Dayna Dreger.

Entry Requirements and Deadlines:

- Entries must be received by August 5, 2023, at 6:00 PM (late entries accepted if trials not full).
- Move-ups permitted until August 11 at 5:00 PM for Trial 1; later for Trial 2.
- No telephone, e-mail, or fax entries accepted. Confirmations sent via e-mail approximately 3 days before the trials.
- Cancellations after August 5 may not be eligible for a refund.

Awards:

- Qualifying ribbons for scores of 170 or better.
- Placement ribbons for top 5 in each class.

Accommodations:

- Nearby hotels: Comfort Inn, Quality Inn, Hampton Inn, Travelodge.
- Crating allowed in the trial building; disruptive dogs may be asked to leave.

Directions:

- From south: Take I270 North to Exit 32, then I70 eastbound. Follow signs to Frederick Fairgrounds and Patrick Street. Turn left onto East Patrick Street past S&S Tire.
- From east or west: Follow I70 to exits 55 or 56, then directions as above.

Classes:

- A Classes: For dogs that have not earned the base level title for their level (RL1, RL2, RL3, RLV).
- B Classes: For dogs that have completed the base level title for their level.
- Intro Class: Open to dogs 6 months or older but not eligible for placement awards if they've earned RL1 or higher.
- Veteran Class: Open to dogs over 8 years old; specific jump heights adjusted based on age and weight.

Bonus Exercises:

- Bonus exercises with potential for additional points (up to 6) are offered in all regular classes.
- Bonus exercises may be retried once, and a change of direction requires an additional basic turn.

Jump Heights:

- No requirement for on-site dog measurement, but judges can measure if necessary.
- Recommended and minimum allowable jump heights based on withers height are provided; specific heights must be designated on the entry form.
